- Italferro attended EUROMOLD 2000, exhibition held in Frankfurt (D), from 29/11 to 2/12/2000.

ITALFERRO presents its new item

Starting from September 2000, Italferro has been proposing a new aluminium solution to all its customers:
ALUMOLD 2-400, a new alloy specially studied for the construction of moulds for the blowing process. We have always being using 70/75 T 651 alloy for the above-mentioned applications but with two important limits:

1) the former concerns the poor welding capacity;
2) the latter concerns the high susceptibility to corrosion (plastic materials, refrigerating liquids).
